I’m a little late for TMITuesdayBlog, the November 26, 2019 edition. What will I answer this week? You’ll have to read on to see. Read, comment, join in, or share your two cents on the week’s questions. (See below to get started.)
1. What childish thing do you still enjoy?
ANSWER: I still enjoy dancing and roller skating. Those two activities made me very happy throughout my childhood…and they still do. Hopefully, I’ll be able to continue enjoying them for years to come.
2. From what movie do you know a lot quotes?
ANSWER: The Princess Bride. There were so many great lines in that movie. Of course, it didn’t hurt that I watched that movie so many times that it was inevitable that I’d memorize some of the lines.
3. Would you say you use/recite movie quotes in conversations:
A. 10% of the time
B. 30% of the time
C. 50% of the time
D. 75% or more of the time
ANSWER: (A.) I will occasionally quote a line from a movie. But, it doesn’t happen very often. Being that I am a writer, I much prefer to say things that others would want to quote, instead.
4. What’s your favorite movie line or quote?
ANSWER: A quote from the very first Superman movie. The line I learned to quote fairly early (that was quote repeatedly by my entire family) was spoken by Margot Kidder as Lois Lane. The scene, which included Christophe Reeve as Superman, went like this:
Superman: Easy, Miss. I’ve got you!
Lois Lane: Y…you’ve got me?! Who’s got you?!
5. What is your favorite euphemism for sex?
ANSWER: ‘Get your freak on’! There are many great euphemisms for sex. However I almost always love the ones that are made into songs. ‘Get your freak on’ is a fav!f
BONUS: What’s the worst and best thing about being male?
ANSWER: N/A. I can only imagine that it’s great to be male and have life revolve around what’s happening in one’s pants. However, at the same token, I’d imagine that’s the worse thing about being a male too.
