Greetings, TMI Tuesday fans! Have you missed me?! It’s been a while, but I woke up with the urge to share far more than I should about myself. And, what better way to scratch that itch than to participate in another round of Q&A at TMITuesdayBlog (February 23, 2021). As always, I may be answering questions about sex and life in general. Wanna join in? Read the info below this post to find out how you can.
1. What food did you eat so much of that now you hate it?
ANSWER: Hummus. For years, I’d eat hummus with raw carrots and/or snap peas because not only was it healthy, it tasted ridiculously good to me. I’d eat it all the times of the day…at breakfast, lunch, or dinner…I didn’t care. And then one day, I just didn’t couldn’t stand hummus anymore. (I’m patiently waiting for the day that I can fall in love with it all over again.)
2. What two films would you like to combine into one?
ANSWER: The Last Samurai and Memoir of a Geisha. I really love both of these movies, however it always seemed that Ken Watanabe’s character in The Last Samurai (Katsumoto) should have had a love-interest. (Especially as I happen to find him significantly more attractive than Tom Cruise…or even his character, Nathan Algren.) But, being as he was the love-interest in Memoir of a Geisha, I feel that Katsumoto should have fallen in love with a geisha in the former movie.
3. What songs do you feel compelled to sing along with when you hear them, even if you do not know all the words?
ANSWER: ‘Ice Ice Baby’ (Vanilla Ice) and ‘All I Wanna Do’ (Sheryl Crow). Of course, there are many more I could add to this list. But, these are the two that came to mind right away.
4. What is the weirdest place you have ever slept?
ANSWER: An airport. I absolutely hate sleeping in public. But, sometimes having to sleep in an airport happens — for one reason or another — particularly if you are flight attendant (which I was once, decades ago). Falling asleep where people can watch you just doesn’t seem ‘right’ and will always seem weird to me.
5. Who is the weirdest person you have ever slept with, and why do you say this?
ANSWER: My first ‘live-in’ boyfriend. First and foremost, I don’t make a habit of sleeping with weird people, so this question was a bit of a stretch for me anyway. However, my first boyfriend was weird, in that he never wanted me to see him completely naked– which I did anyway. (If he was going to see me naked, I felt entitled to the same kind of show.) He always insisted on wearing at least a T-shirt — which totally qualifies as fucking weird, considering we were having sex together on a fairly regular basis. However, if sex happened at night, he still insisted I had to turn out the lights too, which I preferred not to do. (Yup, he definitely qualifies as the weirdest person I’ve ever slept with.)
BONUS: What do you think you do better than 90% of people?
ANSWER: Write micro-fiction erotica/porn. There’s little doubt in my mind that I’m in the top 10% of writers who can write a good fiction story using less than 60 words. I think I might even move to the top 5% if the criteria includes adding kinky and/or pornographic themes.
